Eureka! retains the well deserved reputation as the premier educational children's attraction and museum in the UK. Based in Halifax and registered as a charity, Eureka! operates both the attraction itself in addition to a variety of commercial activities from retail and catering through to educational materials, nursery provision and property investment.

Iain Spence was a member of the Board of Trustees between 2003 and 2006, helping the organisation to become more commercially focused. In addition to his Board responsibilities, Iain also:

• Chaired the Trading Board, responsible for the commercial operations of the charity, and
• Assisted with the redevelopment of Eureka's online experience, in order to reflect the great physical experience its visitors enjoy.
