MyTravel Outsources Accounting And Finance Services To Xansa

Xansa, the international business process and IT services company is pleased to announce the outsourcing of MyTravel's Accounting & Finance Services (A&FS) to Xansa in a contract with a minimum value of £33m, over seven years.
Commencing on 1 April 2004 around 160 employees will transfer to Xansa's Shared Service Centre.
This outsource will leverage Xansa's existing A&FS Oracle platform and will support MyTravel's core UK business. The existing service will be transferred, stabilised and then transformed, providing higher quality, standardised processes at a reduced cost to MyTravel. This will allow MyTravel to simplify their operations and focus on their core business.
The contract includes payroll, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting and application management support, and will be delivered through Xansa's integrated A&FS operations and includes suitable commercial protection for both parties.
Commenting on the announcement, Alistair Cox, Chief Executive Xansa said:
